Alcohol is served at 34 college stadiums. That number is poised to grow.
Colleges are experimenting with selling alcohol in stadiums on game days. So far, the results show little impact on campus safety, and the revenue has been undeniable. It’s inevitable that more schools will start selling alcohol in the very near future as the public presence of alcohol is normalized.
It is the responsibility of leadership organizations such as the NCAA to step up and provide a safe, replicable, and measurable solution to teach and assist REAL alcohol responsibility. SOBR1 provides such a solution, and is 100% in line with the NCAA policies regarding alcohol at sporting events.
Together, we can introduce a road map for how to appropriately adopt new revenue streams, while continuing to ensure that the communities impacted are given the tools to properly accommodate these changes.
